When I was diagnosed with Angiosarcoma cancer, we made the very difficult but necessary decision to temporarily relocate to Houston so I could be treated at MD Anderson—the absolute best place I could be for this fight. It meant pressing pause on our life in Nashville for six months, all while still holding onto our home there (and everything that comes with it).

The doctors require that I have someone with me to support both my physical and mental health. As someone who deeply values their independence, that’s not easy to accept. But my people—especially my fiancé Zac—have stepped up in incredible ways. Zac will be traveling back and forth from Nashville, balancing everything at home while making sure I’m never alone here. Our friends & family have gone above and beyond too, taking turns and offering to stay with me and offering the kind of support that reminds me just how surrounded by love I really am.

Even our fur babies have joined the relay—safely rehomed for now with family who are spoiling them rotten.

So many of you have asked how to help. This is one of the biggest ways: Donations go directly toward covering rent in Houston, travel back and forth, and the unexpected (but inevitable) extras that come with navigating this chapter. Every contribution lifts a little weight off our shoulders—and helps us feel even more wrapped in love and support.

From the deepest part of my heart—thank you. 💛
