Hi, I’m Kendra.

Welcome to ZenThe Cancer Away—part healing journal, part unfiltered real-talk, part digital hug. I was diagnosed with Primary Angiosarcoma of the Breast, which, spoiler alert, is a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Not exactly the plot twist I had in mind.

This site is my way of keeping things a little less chaotic for everyone: updates go here, reflections live here, and if you’re wondering how to help, I’ve got a whole section for that too. It saves me from texting 50 people the same “still alive, still sarcastic” update.

This journey? It’s messy. It's emotional, physical, spiritual... and occasionally ridiculous. I'm doing my best to move through it with some combo of grace, grit, swearing, and snacks.

Whether you're here to check in, support me, or just accidentally landed here while Googling something weird—I'm genuinely glad you're here. You being here means something. Really.

There will be tears. There will be dark humor. There will be the occasional wellness cliché (I can’t help myself). But above all, there will be truth.

This is where I zen my way through cancer—with as much peace and power as I can muster... and just enough sarcasm to keep things interesting.

"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and twice as beautiful as you'd ever imagined”
